Commission Fees policy

Please note that at time of paying commissions, Paul Darby, Inc., has been charged processing fees by Stripe or Square that are approximately 2.9% + 30¢ per successful card charge.

And postal or WISE charges for stamps or wire fees depending, for us to pay out commissions.

This means we net about 90% of total charges. Or another way to say this is we pay about 10% for the privilege of conducting business online.

We pay out 50% commissions and 25% commissions on our net and not on the gross.

Long description short,  there are small business processing fees that we do not incur for you but that are a typical business expense that we all pay to conduct business online.

In order to make this as easy to understand as possible, starting 9/7/2023 we will set the commission rules to show that Paul Darby, Inc., will  be paying approximately 50% of the gross of the sale  minus 4% processing to cover the costs of transactions.

Before you think something funny is going on, realize that 4% of $10.00 is only forty cents.

We are charged .49 cents by stripe and another $0.40 -$1.24 by Wise so we are paying over half the fees for your orders to process and for us to send you money.

So when you see your commission amounts please do realize that we are paying approximately 50% of all the monies that we collected after the companies such as WISE, US Postal Service, Square and Stripe charged fees for their services to distribute funds using their services.

So fees to collect and then distribute commissions are approximately 4% from an internet order total amount when we figure commission amounts.

Some countries cost slightly more to get commissions to, so this number is not exact every time.

Example of a commission pay out:

You sell a $10 order and you get 50% commission, minus processing fees which is 4%, which leaves 46% net for you.

This means you receive approximately 50% of $9.60 which is $4.80

On a matching check bonus you would receive approximately 50% of $5.00 minus the 4% processing fees which leaves 46% net.

You receive approximately 46% of $5.00 which is $2.30

This document was prepared so that each affiliate of The Shiny Ball Syndrome, a website owned by Paul Darby, Inc., has a clear understanding of the fees schedule involved in figuring commissions and that our statements of 50% and 50% matching check bonus amounts refer to the net amount received from an order and not the gross amount which is a figure that we never received.
